Mitsubishi Safety Features

Mitsubishi makes safety a priority throughout its lineup. Through a combination of innovative engineering and high-tech features, Mitsubishi creates a safe driving environment for all of its customers.
  • Anti-lock Brake System (ABS):
    • The anti-lock brake system prevents the wheels from locking up during heavy braking. This helps the driver maintain control and steer around potential collisions.
  • Hill Start Assist:
    • This safety system prevents a vehicle from rolling backwards when the driver releases the brake while on a hill.
  • Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution Body (RISE):
  • SRS Airbags:
    • This is perhaps one of the most basic yet most life-saving safety features in a Mitsubishi. Each vehicle can have as many as six air bags—driver and passenger frontal impact air bags, driver and passenger side impact air bags, and side curtain air bags.
  • Seatbelts:
    • While technology may be how we eventually eliminate accidents, seatbelts are the best way to prevent injury if you do have an accident.
  • Pedestrian-Protecting Body Structure:
    • In the unfortunate event of striking a pedestrian with your car, Mitsubishi has designed the car’s body structure to reduce injury to pedestrians with energy-absorbing areas in key spots.
There are many more safety features inside each and every Mitsubishi car. Visit us at Pete Moore Mitsubishi and we’ll help you learn all about them.
